Here at Cortijo Gázquez we are finally welcoming visitors this year, after a complete rebuild.

If you would like to get away from it all, to explore an area of inland Spain rarely visited by tourists, a unique taste of rural Southern Spain you have come to the right place. We are also in the Baza natural park, so hiking is just minutes from your apartment door.

Whilst we are completely off-grid, we have all modern conveniences .

As we are on the mountain side, with no neighbours, you can step outside and immediately enjoy the view, the wildlife, including birds of prey soaring overhead.
Yet despite our tranquil setting, we are only 20 minutes walk ( 5 minutes drive) from the beautiful village of Gor, a traditional white mountain village, that has full amenities.

We have 3 self catering “casa rurales”,  a pool area and lots of areas to sit to enjoy the scenery. Each has internet, satellite / terrestrial  tv, kitchen, bathroom and a lounge with dining area. For the colder winter months, they all have underfloor heating and a wood burning fire (romantic – no ?!)

Cortijo Gázquez

A renovation of a large old almond farm and its associated cortijo (country house), situated in the mountains of Southern Spain, in the Baza natural park, not far from Granada.

The farm is on the mountainside, outside the beautiful village of Gor. We are completely off-grid,  but we have all the modern conveniences you would expect, being supplied by solar and out own well.

We now have three self catering holiday apartments that we let to visitors to share this wonderful setting.

All apartments have internet, satellite / terrestrial  tv, kitchen, bathroom, lounge with dining area. For the colder winter months, they all have underfloor heating, and a wood burning fire (romantic – no ?!).

As well as the apartments there is a pool with a relaxation area overlooking the countryside and there are plenty of other places around our ‘farm’ where you can sit and enjoy the tranquility or socialise with your family and friends.

Cortijo Gázquez is about 5 minutes drive from Gor, or about 20 minutes walk down hill to the village.
